Gut sind die Zimmer im Erdgeschoss auf gleicher Ebene mit Bar und Dinerraum. Beliebt für große Feiern. Etwas abseits vom Zentrum aber gut gelegen an wichtigen Verkehrswegen. Kleine Schwächen im Detail. Trotzdem zu empfehlen.

Great hotel to hold our work Christmas party. A few of us stayed over and the rooms were clean, modern and comfortable. The staff couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome. The food at the Christmas party was really good. Hot and tasty. A dairy intolerance catered for with no issues too. Definitely recommend.

Good rooms, nice and clean. Large beds, good shower, hair dryer and tea and coffee. Fridge in the room too.
Gym was small so only good for a quick workout and very warm! Pool was lovely and heated, they provide you with a towel to use as a guest. Sauna was great too.
Restaurant service wasn't great, staff were a bit unsure on what kitchen had available and what drinks they had. Took long for our food to come out. I had a black pudding starter which was disappointing with the crispy bacon just cooked and only one egg. Pizza was also disappointing, doesn't look feel like it was cooked in a pizza oven as very pale crust and way too much cheese!

Stayed a couple of times while visiting family in the area. First time we had a normal room on the first floor and the second we had a suite. The normal room which your standard room, it was very clean and more than adequate for our stay the second time we decided to upgrade and ended up with the suite which is probably used for the bridal suite when they have a wedding. The room was enormous, there was a seating area, an enormous bed, I had to use a chair to help me get on it, it was so high. The bathroom was also enormous with a stand alone bath and a walk in shower which could have fitted 6 people with a waterfall shower head. This is the first room that it had toothbrushes and razors as well as the usual toiletries for you to use. There was also a fridge, coffeemaker and kettle. This room was on the ground floor, which does lead to an inner courtyard where people can sit and drink.|I read this area can get noisy, but it was fine while we were there, there is a restaurant onsite, which we did not use.|We had to pay a security deposit for the suite, previous guests had done some damage so now they charge the deposit, when you check out they will inspect the room and refund your card there and then, or you can leave and they will refund after they have done the room check. I can fully understand why they do this as they have spent a lot of money on the room.|The hotel is close the a leisure complex with restaurants and a cinema and there is a Asda superstore as well. There is also an onsite pool and spa which we did not visit, but if we use the hotel again I would bring my swimming suit and use the pool.|For the price, especially if you have a chain membership it is very good value for money and would recommend staying there and I would stay again when next in the area.

Comfortable bed and room. Shower nice and powerful. Over priced drinks. We’re in Newcastle not London! Food very dry and overcooked. Limited staff manning the bar. Breakfast good, but not a huge selection. Pool and spa area great for the whole family.

Nice room, clean and reasonably modern. Was visiting for work and wanted dinner but they were only offering a specials menu with three options. Not good. Ended up getting a takeaway. Bar staff weren't trained clearly, When I asked for a Neck Oil, she didn't know which one it was. It got served in a bulmers glass after I had to show her which beer it was.
Second visit is better however, bar staff were good, comfortable room

Lovely 2 night stay here. We visited as a family of 5, had 2 adjoining rooms on the 1st floor. The stay was perfect, check in was quick and easy, the beds were the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in at any hotel, wish I could’ve taken it home! The rooms were very clean and housekeeping were very tentative, helpful and very polite. We had breakfast both mornings, lots of choice and everything was tasty. We used the pool also, changing rooms were clean with plenty lockers and the pool was nice and quiet. All round great stay and we will absolutely be back! Than you to all the staff and especially Ruth.
