I am a student at ISM Schweinfurt and I have been here since 3rd grade. I've learned English and eventually Spanish and I am very grateful to have the opportunity to receive education here.

I think that the ISM is a great school! The small class sizes allow teachers to focus on each student's strengths and weaknesses. The positive and open school environment makes it very common for students of all grades to interact with each other. ISM also helps build skills like, presentation skills, essay writing and IT knowledge. Overall the ISM is a wonderful school community.

This is my fourth year at ISM and I have had many great experiences here. For example, we have a "Reading Night" organized by our English teacher twice a year where we do fun scavenger hunts throughout the school with different themes and spend the night in the school building. Some of the best reading nights were the "Harry Potter Reading Nights" where we all got cool accessories, had magic lessons, and played "Quidditch" in the school gym.

The ISM community is a nice environment, if you like small classes where your child can have more of a one and one communication and interaction with the teachers and students around. It feels like a little family.
The one critique I can give is, in the IB (11-12th Grade), a larger variety of classes would be a nice touch to the IBDP, just so the students have more of a choice to pursue the subjects they would enjoy.
Although the school may not be perfect as of yet, it has potential, and you and your child can help the school grow!

The community in the ISM is one rarely seen in larger schools - a day never passes without a "Good Morning!" from the students and staff. It is always appreciated to see smiling faces when walking into the building!

The school offers a great international education with experienced and open-minded teachers from all over the world. Students attending the school range from Grade 1 through Grade 12, so from the beginning of Elementary School until the end of High School.
At the end of 5th Grade, the students obtain their Primary Years Programme Diploma. The German Mittlere Reife is achieved through the Cambridge IGCSE exams at the end of Grade 10. And the Abitur is reached through the International Baccalaureate Diploma at the end of Grade 12.
English and German language are taught either as Language A or as Language B. Spanish and French are taught as Language B.
The school offers clubs, to either review topics and give support where necessary, or to give children the chance to work on and develop their passions. All students have Physical Education, Music, and Art from Grade 1 through Grade 10. Moreover, throughout the school year, there are plenty of fun activity days and evenings, daytrips, and "house" activities, like in Hogwarts.
As for transportation, parents can book special buses as a shuttle service for students living in Würzburg, Schweinfurt, Bad Kissingen, and the surrounding towns.
